I have been put off by expensive quotes for a new upvc door and frame for the front of the house.
I have removed all unsightly window wax patterns - just not my cup of tea, so now just have glass panels in top and bottom of the door.
for the sake of holes made by replacement of old letterbox, cable clips and holes drilled in frame - just not worth replacing the whole lot.
I'm interested in techniques in restoring the door an frame in regards to filling holes, cleaning dull staines and restoring the white finish.
Im aware of products that contain acetone such as stalmax used by window fitters to clean the upvc surface but have yet to try it out.
