yesterday three kids (around the age of 9 or 10) deliberately smashed my UPVC double glazed door of my porch by throwing stones at it. My husband went down to the Police Station to report it, and we are being visited by the Police later on today. I have been in touch with my insurance company who advised me that the excess (which i will be required to pay) is £150.
I feel this is unfair as it was vandalism, is there any way we can get the kids parents to pay us the excess, they are all on benefits and are pretty ignorant, but they shouldn't be allowed to get away with it. Any advice please?
